That's a remarkable display, but then again, remarkable seems apt for an awful lot you post here with your build exploits!
Thanks Anna šŸ˜Š

Looks as if it will fit nicely within the diameter of the top 'dimple' on the lid for the font tower.

I'll just have to take my time doing a neat rectangular cutout - I find SS isn't the easiest material to work with...

I suppose this could go in any thread to do eith kegging, but since you have the entire BKT catalogue lying there il just ask you..... What tubing do you use for gas? The stuff I currently have on my CO2 cylinder is a pretty hard plastic tubing and whilst it slots into a JG connection really well, I dont like something that rigid being pushed onto the barb of my regulator and held on with jubilee clip... Its a recipe for leaks.

A barb sounds unusual... all the brewing CO2 regulators I've seen come with a 3/8" JG fitting on the output (see photo of mine below).
Are you using something different like a propane regulator?

You know something, I am a big believer in when you make an **** of it, you just come clean so others can enjoy it..... I jsut went out to get a photo of what I have, and in doing so, had a light bulb moment that the bard is simpke screwed on.... Took that off and sure enough, bog standard JG fitting goes nicely on in its place šŸ˜‚

Nice one - glad you got it sorted athumb..

I checked the fridge cover and as suspected itā€™s definitely way too flimsy to mount the tower firmly.
So Iā€™m going ahead with the plan to add a plywood reinforcing plate and bolt all the way through.
Itā€™s very fortunate that the manufacturer moulded stand-off webs into the underside - these rest on the top of the hard foam infill and are about 6.5mm high which is a decent match to some old 7mm plywood I had in the garage.

So the first job is to remove the standoffs and webs in the area where the plate will go. Out with the chisel again!

No going back nowā€¦

I may have missed it but what does the display show?
Whatever I like really: the main idea is to show how many pints are left in each keg (using the corny scales Iā€™ve been building in a different thread) but could also be the names of the beers, the keg temperature or just a selection of ā€˜Dadā€™ jokesā€¦
At the moment itā€™s just showing test data though

I actuality have both barb and quick connect, one as per photo and another is a welding regulator for C02/O2 for which this has the barb.
