I’m trying to fond a supplier of 1 litre PET bottles, lots of 500ml and 750ml but space is an issue so 100s of 500 is a pain and 750 seems like you’re pouring a pint and the remaining 250 would end up with large amount of sediment in small remainder of beer, typically a litre is all I drink at a time. TIA

I buy 6 packs of 1litre sparkling lemon & lime water from lidl mate, shorter in height than the Tesco equivalent and half the price, fit perfectly into a bottle crate, I use nothing else now..... Just bottled 20 litres of fiery Ginger beer in them. acheers.

Thank you, I had same thought. But with cola bottles but most supermarkets have ditched 1 litre bottles and gone with 2 litres. I’ll have a look at Lidl

I got a load of swing top glass beer bottles from Aldi under the same method. I figured even if I didn't like the 99p lager in them it was still cheaper than 'proper'H/B bottles. as it was the contents were indeed vile but a friend of mine generously volunteered to empty them down the drain via his less discerning kidneys and multiple fills later thy are still in use.

I used to drink Grolsh in the NAAFI in Germany. It worked out at 25p a bottle (late 80's) and a double spirit was 15p. It's no wonder we were pi$$ed most of the time. Grolsh would give me a two day hangover.
