Delighted with my latest stout, ticks a lot of boxes stout wise (for me)

This is a hilarious beer.
Well, to me anyway.
Made Feb. 2021.
It was SUPPOSED to be a Burton IPA.
Turned out as a 7% Old Ale.
I blame the ancient EDME DMS extract I used in it for the flavours.
Tastes like an alcoholic bitter Seville orange marmalade, made with treacle and molasses.
The problem is me, I just can't help myself when brewing, "I'll just add a little bit more, what can possibly go wrong?". 😜

And now for something completely different.
This was intended for Christmas, then Easter,
So tonight it is. Because it is still cold enough.
'85 Dow's.
Bliss.
If anyone is interested, I have "tongs",
hence the separate bottle neck.
That is quite an indulgence ! And opened like a professional. I love port but that must be something special.
