The list was taken from a google search for the best brewing countries and a few added on when mentioned by members. I will add Poland for you!
Waiting for it. As you can see Poland is a third beer producer in Europe, after Germany and UK.

Er …. I’m reminded of a Poster I saw in Saudi many years ago that said:

Eat sh1t
Ten million flies can’t be wrong!

I’m reminded of it every time someone comes up with a statistic that exhorts me to try something new.

As for Polish beer? Sorry but, as far as I know, I’ve never tried it.
:hat:

Sorry for you mate, you would never drink other if you try some😄

The typical Euro Lager is pretty bad, but I've had quote a lot from Stu Mostów and have been very impressed.
That is only one from hundreds you should try. I am not talking about commercial brewerys and typical lager / which is by the way also very good with ABV starting from 5.6%/ but smaller craft brewers.

Haha, I remember being at a very middle class festival years ago draped in the st piran's and I heard a lady ask her husband what flag it was. 'Peoples republic of Cornwall' he replied. 🤣
Cornwall yes, but without the People's Republic, because it has bad associations today

Bugger,
I was constructing a clever reply in cod-Kernowek but now it would be in bad taste.
Bloody extremists have to go and spoil all the fun!

Netherlands not Holland. There are 3 beers that know very well: Heineken, Amstel and Grolsh. Never had craft from there.
My Dutch family out there take me to some local micro breweries around Den Bosch area. Sorry about calling it Holland but they never seem to mind maybe their being polite at my ignorance.

Getting back on track - beer.
I reckon a glass of 50:50 Proper Job:Big Job blend bumps Cornwall up the list of best brewing countries all by itself. 🍻
But then I'm in to blended ales at the moment, so I would. 😜
(see my occasional post in 'What are you drinking tonight').

Tell me about your tastings and what kind of beer is the best there🤔

T'Ij, Het Uiltje, De Molen, Jopen and Emelisse have been knocking out of the park for Netherlands craft beer for a long while.

Anyone tried any of Tommie Sjef's wild beers? They're reported to be excellent.

I think they understand it's way too confusing for non-nationals what with all their enclaves, and exclaves in enclaves with Belgium and all within Nederland territory eg Baarle-Nassau /Baarle-Hertog .
Or is it the other way around?
My head hurts.

They called it Benelux but I don't know if they would like to identify with it today. The Dutch are proud of their identity, their customs and I think so is their beer

They are the obvious lagers totally different from the canned stuff. Then there are the fruity hoppy IPA that seem to be springing up and the dark beers like a dark IPA most of the ones I sampled are very well hopped with grapefruit flavours. Can't give you their names because they are local to the brewery. Last one I visited had some lovely copper tanks and pipes in the bar area obviously behind the bars as it was produced in the pub.
