Am on my Vacant Guesture.
Hopped with mosaic. Get @pilgrimhudd thoughts on mosaic. First it was dank, now it's got a citusy pithy taste. Pleasant enough.

Trying @Alastair70 marzen sorry competition winning marzen
Pours crystal clear with a nice white head and smells of a toasty malt aroma
First taste is bready malt and a slight biscuit flavour with a light bitterness and that distinct lager taste in the finish. One sip leads to another and then the glass is done.
not my normal style of beer but I really enjoyed it and if I had another I would happily drink it.
cheers for this. 👍

Needed to reconnect my taps and new beer lines ready for friends arriving in the morning. Whilst doing so I needed a drink to accompany me for the task.

The actual fridge doesn't work but kegs are in another fridge ready to put in.

Taps all done and the lager was very nice. At 6% it is the top end for the style and the alcohol does show but draws you back in for more.

Time to sit down down the night and poured this.
Typical cloudwater. Citra and Idaho 7, what could go wrong. The colour and thickness is out of this world. The flavour and aroma is right up there. Technically it's past it's best if you look at dates. This taste likes it's a day old. Amazing. Not sure how they do it

Got this from Aldi. Normally, I can tell the brand's they are trying to mimic, but this one has me totally stumped.

Another funny thing, on the way home the can jumped out of the bag and started to act inappropriately towards the females in the car.

Very odd.

Always had a soft spot for Warsteiner after trying it for the first time a few years back working in Hamburg.
Still not brewed a true lager yet, though next brew up is a Steam Pilsener - a repeat of a recipe which worked out well last year though swapping Saaz for Hallertau Mittelfruh.
