Trying to see off this keg of EKG bitter, to make room for my latest Mosaic and Cascade AIPA.
Took it's time so ended up filling a 2L PET bottle before I lost my resolve !

Saison, given to me by @samale. Like all his Belgian beers that I’ve tried, this is excellent. Bags of yeast character balanced with lemony citrus hops and it completely hides the 7%ABV. It’s a perfect pre-dinner tipple, cheers!

Glad you enjoyed it. I have a saison on keg I just can't achieve the carbonation that I get with bottle conditioned 👌

Next up is a chocolate pecan stout from @phildo79 that has been waiting for the right occasion. I’m trying really hard to drink it slowly. As it warms up the depth of malt flavour just keeps growing. The dark chocolate flavours are very much in charge, the pecan flavours are much more subtle. It’s a great stout and the high ABV is well balanced with a lovely roasty dry finish. Thank you for sharing it!
