Would you like to see Irish Malt stocked again? We had let the stocks run out recently as we took on the distribution for CRISP & IREKS, we buy in containers every few weeks so the freshness is first class and best value but we could stock a small selection of Irish Malt if you guys want

Thanks
Jonathan

Yes please. Good results and cheap, a Brewers dream.

Yes,yes,yes:thumb:

Placed an order today for two custom grain kits. It looks like when you do the 2nd kit, it overwrites the 1st lot of ingredients, so it looks like I've ordered two identical kits.

Called them up and sorted it all over the phone. Top service :thumb:

Your Nelson Sauvin t90 hop pellets don't seem to have a weight option as per the others do - is this intentional? If so, what weight is being sold?

When are you intending to get some more of the “PVC CO2 Tubing reinforced for Beer” please, you are out of stock of the larger size and have only a very small amount of the smaller size (not enough for me to order unfortunately)?

We brewed a trial in our brewery using this strain and was impressed with the stone fruit flavours that comes from the yeast, we initially under pitched our first efforts (school boy effort really, should have read the instructions) and when we brewed the second batch with the correct pitch rate the fruit flavours came to the front, we did a single infusion mash , single hop El Dorado and fermented for 5 days. First batch had a nice subtle pineapple flavour, the second batch was very fruity like peach and I was super impressed. Lallemand aren't dragging their heals I don't think they expected the commercial demand to be as high and we took the decision to release it in our 25g foil vac packs. The repacking was carried out ultra careful and I would hope it doesn't negatively affect it. My understanding is its a very difficult strain to grow and hence the backlog of commercial orders and delay in launching the homebrew size but I am confident they have measures in place to resolve this issue quickly.

Hi there, I’ve just popped you an e-mail about my order 604046 and the dried Vermont yeast in my order. If you could attend that would be great. Thanks.

Well it was July last year (yes July 2017!) that I asked about this through the contact us form on your website, which you ignored and never replied to. I eventually ordered elsewhere but needed some more for a rejig so posted here, after 4 weeks (not great at all) you replied that you would be ordering this the next day. It has now been another 3 months and still no sign (4 months since I asked the second time and 7 months since my original enquiry!).
Any idea of what is going on with this?

Hi, We don't monitor the form posts regularly as we simply don't have enough hours in the day, if you want to raise an issue then please email us at [email protected]. The delayed reply has been because i only get a chance to look at this thread from time to time. Kind Regards Jonathan

I’ve just started putting together my next order. On my “To Brew” list is another Cali Common, but it looks like the 2017 Northern Brewer harvest is only 3% AA, is this right? It’s less than half the AA rating of the 2016 harvest.

I'll double check in the morning when back in the warehouse

A bit angry with geterbrewed and theier experimental neipa kit.

The website and packing sheet said 2x1.5kg MJ lme whereas they sent 2x1.2kg. Their instructions said brew to 23l. So I have ended up with 3% beer rather than 4.4% that the website said.

When I raised this with geterbrewed their email showed no remorse or desire to make good. Rather they have corrected the website only for the neipa not the other effected kits - and not the instructions.

Please note i correspnded with the company privately prior to public posting.

Did you use Paypal or Credit Card by any chance? If so I would be looking to get my money back via those avenues, though it's unfortunate you went ahead with making the kit.

Looking at the recipe for the kit I can tell you it's complete rubbish and won't make anything like a NEIPA, but you should have been sent what you ordered regardless.

Is that this one?

https://www.geterbrewed.com/neipa-extract-brewing-kit/

Its still advertised at 2 x 1.5KG. at £30 and 2.4 lme kg kit

Looking at the page, you could probably make a decent NEIPA there by dropping the water volume and moving all of the boil hops to flameout/whirlpool (maybe shifting some to the dry hop).

£30 for that is extortionate though, you could do a full AG version for less than half that.
