I was the only person in the room who hadn't tried it!

I was in the office the other morning when someone said they hadn't had a McDonald's McMuffin for breakfast for a while. When I said I'd never had one there were gasps of shock across the room.
No one could believe I'd never had one, I couldn't believe that in a room of around 16 people I was the only one who hadn't.
My boss was so shocked he placed a delivery order and bought me one there and then.

Am I really that unusual in not having had one before?

Has anyone else had a similar experience where their none participation in pop culture has caused shock and awe?

I have never ever had a McDonald's McMuffin. I wear this as a badge of honour. It you appear to be so out of sync with your work colleagues, id suggest a change of environment ;)

(or embrace it)

I really do not like the food from Mc D's, anyone remember that guy who filmed himself eating their food for a week and piled weight on.

No you're not alone - I'd rather starve than eat a 'maccy d' and that's a fact. Some dude at work was feeling charitable before Xmas and brought a load of McDonalds trash in for everyone. Mine went in the bin, untouched. I could have given it to someone else but I was doing them a favour by not doing so.

It is about 30 years since I last went into a McDs to buy food, and that was as treat for my two boys.It is not very likely that I will visit again. And the one and only Burger King burger I had about 20 years ago ended up in the bin.

This guy was my prof at uni. He's never tried coca cola, or any of its imitators.

As a general rule, I do not like Maccy D's. A sausage and egg McMuffin is the singular exception.

not touched a McDeathburger since 1976 when i spent 4 weeks on a greyhound bus with a $4 Mcdeathburger lunch voucher EVERY DAY on the rd. not had a muffin thing either?

Had a Egg Muffin 20+ years ago (a guy at a place I used to work would collect on his way into work), don't recall having anything from there in the gap between then & now.

I’ve not had a McDonalds sober for about 10 years. A Signature burger or Big Tasty with a chocolate milkshake after 10 pints is scientifically proven to prevent hangovers though!

I am not a fan of mcdonalds at all.. I don't get the hype, the burgers do not look or taste like meat??

I have tried the mcmuffin however at breakfast time it was so greasy it didn't sit right and i felt like I ate a brick that day. I can eat anything normally

the coffee there was nice however
