I've placed an order this afternoon. I found the website site dead easy to use,had everything I wanted plus I added a few pkts of hops as they were on offer. Forgot to ask for 5x5kg but called and they said no problem.

The recipe builder is returning in the next few weeks once they iron out a few probs

All the downtime has done is shown me how much cheaper Geterbrewed are. I was a vocal supporter of Maltmiller and spent a good few hundred quid with them in the last year but I doubt I'll be going back - terrible business decision launching a half-finished webstore.

To be honest GETERBREWED is cheaper than MM. Looks like Robs bumped his prices up a little.

Still no recipe kits being made up by Malt Miller, I have a feeling they are a bit labour intensive and they have thrown in the towel with them.

You definately right about recipe kits being labour intesive. A forumite (cant remember who) asked GEB on one of the GEB threads why there recipe kits arent included in the 5% discount (or perhaps it was some other offer GEB had at the time) to which GEB replied that because recipe kits are so labour intesive to make up, they dont even break even making them up

If i want to waste some time i make up a recipe with 10 malts in.

I tweeted MM before easter asking about their recipe kit creation..they said that its a matter of their priority but if there are any recipes you want made up then just email them. I guess then they will send out a paypal payment request or something to pay for it. I haven't ordered from them yet but need to brew a cream ale for a friends wedding coming up so will give it a go.

I've been using GEB for the last few brews, however I find their creation system abit clunkly and bit difficult to scan for the items you want. Also I've had hops that have been underweight by more than the odd gram.

I've just placed an order with MM this morning...
Sent them an email with the recipe/quantity of ingredients just before 8, they replied at 9:20 with a copy of an invoice, after you confirm your happy - they sent a paypal payment request for the amount. This was £17.70 . This time was still cheaper than Geterbrewed with the basic recipe was £16 approx not including delivery.
Think I will start to use MM again.... the only problem I have is that I accidentally ordered a full batch sized amount of ingredients when I only wanted to do a 9l batch as Im testing a cream ale recipe...Looks like Ive got more to drink......
