Probably sounds a bit odd but I currently have no way to get o2 into a brew for tomorrow. Bar shaking my FV which is a bit big for that. I have built up some London ale III from some slurry from march in 2 stages and now have a very active 2 litre starter. I was thinking crashing it over night, decanting the stated beer and tomorrow when I brew add a full 3 litres of the wort to the flask (about 15% of the brew), get it stiring for a few hours and pitch the whole lot when fully raging. The last step up was at high krausen within 90mins so won't take long I bet. Reckon this will overcome some of the issues with lack of O2? I need this brew to attenuate properly :).

Have you no cordless drill you can use with a paint mixer? I used this method successfully for many brews.

I do but I don't have a paint mixer. I do have the whirlpool thing for my grainfather but it doesn't fit into the FV.

I've done something similar a few times - mainly just to kick start some yeast before pitching. As long as the OG is not too high, and you splash the wort around as much as possible when filling the FV, I reckon your plan would work well.

It's a pretty basic 4.8% oatmeal stout so nothing extraordinary. It'll probably be fine with just a shake but wanna keep the yeast healthy as I'm reusing it straight after for a bigger beer (though not huge, 6.5-7%).

Don't bother buying anything!

Just nick a plastic covered wire coat-hanger out of the wardrobe, straighten out the hook, pull the bottom bar downwards to make a diamond shape that will easily fit through the top of your FV, stick it into the drill (nice and tight), sanitise it with a spray of StarSan, wait a minute to let it drain and then put it into the FV and whisk up the wort before pitching the yeast.

Simples!

I use the this set up for degassing wine but have never had to aerate my wort just the usual pour from the boil kettle to the FV and maybe a stir but thats all and my yeast always seems happy with that

Me neither. All I do is blast in the cold water that I use after the boil to bring the wort up to the required volume.

This option didn't seem to be available judging by the OP.

There's an American fella on YouTube who has a channel called Larry's beer and BBQ or something.
He uses some sort of aquarium stone attached to a tube and can of compressed air.
