BP draught lager, followed by a BP sparkling beer (I shouldn't be drinking this so young, but it's lush) and I'll finish off with a JJSH ESB . Then back on the waggon till next weekend.

I had a couple of bottles given to me today. First is a Glamorgan brewing company Welsh pale...very nice.
I also have a bottle of Purity mad goose.

Sharing not allowed!! Although a first tonight ..Mrs Clint tried a beer .the Jubel peach...she really likes it!! I quite like it too ....might have a go at something....

A pint of a very boring 3.5% pale ale. But I'm so chuffed! Brewed with wyeast London ale 3, and served from a reclaimed 5l supermarket keg, it is a perfect session-able pint. Really like this yeast. Ferments out well, great flocculation, loving the flavour profile

Last of my oxidised NEIPA... Its turned south in the last week, good job barely anything left.
My frankenbeer Belgian thing which is definitely not to be brewed again. I'll be chugging that down over the next few weeks to clear a keg up.

Picked this up on a whim not realising it's the same brewery who makes Lia Fáil which I used to really enjoy. This one is very tasty, has a big malty aroma which is boosted by vanilla from the oak. Then the flavour is big on liquorice and malt, sweet but from the oak rather than the malt, dry finish where the malt lingers, enough bitterness to balance it but not hoppy at all. All they say is "oak" but I get sherried whisky from it, I tasted a bit of Pedro Ximinez sherry after the beer and it's very similar, that's a super sweet sherry made from raisins and then oak aged for those not familiar with it.
I checked the website and it's pale, brown and munich malts with roasted barley, the combo of brown and munich is what I got from the melanoidin heavy malt and liquorice. Nice surprise this one.
