Hi started my 3rd wine kit today with my new FastFerment , previously made a Beaverdale 30 bottle in November which is after aging quite good, then a 6 bottle Beaverdale which was good after a few weeks and disappeared quickly,.
Decided to step up quality I hope with a Kenridge Classic Nebbiolo, took a while setting up and sanitising new toy, issues with thermowell sealing , started kit slowly with house to myself but probably easier with a helping hand first time, all done now just waiting for fermentation to start maybe in the morning, only issue now is a small drip at thermowell which seems to have sealed, just hope it remains one drip , any advice very welcome.

Yes used tape, prefilled with water tightening a wee bit more and then again , drying leaving for quite a while before adding wine juice, but overnight there is no further drip so fingers crossed, just waiting for a few bubbles

So yesterday was day 14 and took a SG reading on my hard to read hydrometer, showed on edge of green so finished, was going to start clearing today but still slight bubble in airlock, so I don’t want to go too early, any advice welcome
