Had a Sticky Toffee Pudding by Eagle brewery....Wow , I wasn't expecting it to taste like actual sticky toffee pudding, but it did!
On the back label it says they use toffee flavouring, has anyone here used toffee flavouring in a brew?

Its also appearing in my local Spoons as part of some beer festival, at £2 a pint, apparently. I don't know if it is in other spoons as well.

I havent been in my local spoons for yonks but it usually has what all the other spoons beer festivals have, so might have to wander down their to see if it has it

a lovely drop of IPA with falconers flight...this one is out of the pb. Doodah the cat approves.
Well deserved as I has been very busy down the allotment and also putting up a new bit of fencing which the misuse is very impressed about!

Having a waistline crisis so having to bite the bullet and drink whiskey. Can't get on with it. If it doesn't come in pints, it's not a drink!

IPA with Simcoe and Citra. This after some Brown Ales (Green Bullet) this afternoon watching both Scottish sides go out of the Champions Cup. Edinburgh chose to self destruct through selfish score-settling and then Glasgow were absolutely crushed for the third time on the bounce by Saracens.

Richard Cockerill will be fuming for a long time, as the game was won. then chucked away for spite. After 60 years of de facto being Scottish, I wonder if that really defines them.

Trying to drink my 15 day Three Floyd's Dreadnaught DIPA clone but my keg is acting up. The couple of glasses I have struggled to pour have been very good. I'm thinking I would make this one again. Not too shabby.

Had a Sussex Amber that got really sickly even though it was 4.2% and then something that was a bit like a mild and it said it had notes of raisins and dates on the badge so I'm presuming Special B is in there - hope so as I've just ordered some, and a kilo of Special X but don't know if it's the same - pffft, don't care either, it'll all be beer.

Also had a Ghost Ship, Old Fancy Hen or whatever the 6.5% one is, Darkstar Hop Head and a bottle of malbec. Still liking Ghost Ship and randomly got some cararye and found out I've got the grain base for it but not the hops but will give it a go with a load of columbus and cascade instead. Yeah, boozy rambling.

Just finishing off one of these from tesco for £3 a can. Its very good and amazingly drinkable for 7.4%.
Its all about the grapefruit but the hops come through more as it warms.
If you like elvis juice you'll love this
