The final candidates for the Tory leadership race have been confirmed, with 10 running to become the next PM.

The potato is currently winning the other poll.

Who do you want to see as the new PM now its official the Potato isn't running.

I don't know if Borris is just acting the buffoon and taking the **** most of the time. Like an alter ego in front of the camera.
Gove is at least more honest to own up to things that happened 20 years ago, which is similar to Clinton not inhaling. Did anyone believe he didn't inhale? Yet he still made president.

If anyone owns up to cannabis use - they may just swing the popular vote!

A few days ago I was listening on the radio (I think it was the Conservative chairman or some such),anouncing how they'd amended the rules of leadership contests/bunfights so as to have less candidates. Now we see there are ten official candidated. Ten!

I think whoever it is will only be there to deal with the unspeakable B word and then gone by the next election and Boris is the man for the job

I don't know about the other supporters of "a potato" but I feel politically oppressed by his/her/its none inclusion in this poll.

1984 is reality and Chippy is Big Brother (and with a name like Chippy as well I thought you'd be pro potato all the way!)

The results are in 3 knocked out and Boris is the clear leader -

Mr Johnson received 114 votes, Jeremy Hunt was second with 43, and Michael Gove third with 37 votes.

My vote is for Johnson, without any hesitation.
Only one reason. He is such a repellent character. Totally obnoxious, a liar when it suits him, a portrayer of any political idea if it seems expedient. an absolute chancer and charlatan. Therefore, the perfect Tory leader. If Johnson is installed as PM then I can only see this as a huge boost to Scottish independence, so I'm all for it! athumb..
