My yep water is hard as nails and I end up using over 1ml / L of CRS for some styles. This uses a lot of CRS and also adds lots of other things to the water that aren't always desirable. So, I'm thinking of getting some food grade phosphoric acid and using that, but it's not listed on either the forum or Graham Wheeler JBK calculators. Can anyone point me in the direction of one that does list it and works in the same way - i.e. input all your water values, choose your target style and water volume and it gives you hire much acid, Epson, gypsum etc to use? I cannot get my head around the Brewer's Friend one that seems to work backwards.

I'm obviously rather biased, but my "Mash Made Easy" spreadsheet for mash pH assistance allows you to use Phosphoric Acid at any desired concentration. Ditto for Lactic Acid. It also permits the use of Acid Malt, Citric Acid, and CRS/AMS to achieve your desired mash pH target. Available in Avoirdupois (Lbs., Lovibond, and SRM) and Metric (with EBC color) formats. It also allows for the use of calcium chloride at any chosen percentage of water content (since it is continuously absorbing moisture when exposed to air), and alternately it allows for calcium chloride to be used as a solution.

Current version is 6.60

It is both free and fully complete. No teaser edition, followed by a need to pay for the full version.

Good plan. CRS as a product needs to die. I tipped mine down the sink when I switched to lactic (because I don't need much of it as I brew with Ashbeck which is already very low alkalinity). Phosphoric is a very good choice.

Bru'n water. Dead easy to use once you've got your head around the colour coding in the spreadsheet.

Ummm i'm pretty sure that unless you are a forum sponsor youre not allowed to peddle and sell stuff like your making money on the forum dude.

I think you might have to remove that and also the link on your bio.

Am i correct here @Chippy_Tea

The post was a little ambiguously worded but I read it that there isn't a pay version and that the free version is complete.

What about the pay version

I have looked at the site and cannot see any selling only a request for donations to keep it updated, i may have missed it so if these is a link to a paid version could someone PM me it, thanks.

MME is not a teaser pointing to a version that is required to do more of what is needed to be done, and requires payment. MME is both free and complete. There is no pay version.
