Our good friends at Lidl have some new beers. As in, haven't seen them here. Are these cans regular stock in the UK? And how do they taste?

The cans look interesting and reasonable for 99p/500ml.

The EPA is dear...

I find Aldi and Lidl are sneaky with their beers. There's always an over priced branded beer in the mix to throw u off or make the others look cheaper.
Hobgoblin, various marstons beers, bishops finger, spitfire...

Yes, but: those aren't available here normally spoken, might as well consider it 'import'. And still better than regular mainstream beers. The price is good, and the EPA is worth it. I'd pay €2 too.
But the cans aren't available in the UK?

They certainly look worth trying. Haven't seen them in Lidl, France, though, but that's not surprising as, apart from their house lager, none of the bottled beers or ciders available in the UK are on sale here. Shame I liked some of them.

Funnily enough I popped into Lidl this morning (don't normally shop there) and this caught my eye:

Never seen or heard of it before

I’ve had all 3 varieties of the cans, I’d not get too excited by them.
I got them in Lidl Switzerland.

There are actually six varieties. The stronger ones shown in the picture are not great at all, to me they taste under attenuated. The other three, not shown (a session IPA, a pale ale wheat and a 4%-ish IPA Radler) are much better. Hopefully they will be available in the UK at some point. They are only about 55p a can in Germany though
