Yes, full strength is a bit much- had a sesh on it on Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry- yes REALLY...!! Was a bit second hand the next morning...!! Lovely taste tho. Will look out for the Session...

Skinners Cornish Knocker Golden ale. In the 4 for £6 in Asda. Nothing amazing but will buy again at that price.

My 2nd was Ringwood Circadian, loved it. I'm still learning about my American hops. Does anyone know what is in this? Brewery website only lets slip that there are 5 of them and that they are American and exotic. I'm thinking Amarillo because first whiff smells like weed. Also citra maybe as tastes a bit like Oakham Citra, which I actually can't stand, but better and toned down.

3rd Hogsback TEA, awful, can't explain how, weirdly it actually tastes warm despite being cold and been in the fridge with the others all week, thinking about tipping it, now forced into a school night 4th beer which puts me into dodgy decision making country!

My Belgian Tripel, on its seventh day in the bottle and weighing in at 13.8% ABV. It's easily the lightest color (about 6 SRM) I've made. 3# table sugar, 8# DME in total with 5# at zero minutes. It's pretty dry which I expected once I saw the 1.004 FG and reminiscent of the Belgian Westmalle or La Fin Du Monde. I used two, MJ M-41s which seems to leave the beer cloudier early on than T-58 but ferments like mad. Very happy with it and kind of my favorite right now.

In reference to post #2856 (a couple above), I didn't want to clog the photo up more than I already had by going on and on but I do have a few more thoughts. Once I saw 1.004 as the FG, I became depressed and thought I was going to hate the beer--too dry and too much burning alcohol up front. To my surprise, that didn't happen; the hops held their own (hooray) and the malt did its part as well. I'm amazed at the M-41's ability. I'm now a big fan.
Cheers!
