As I am in a home brew desert of my own making, still on the commercial stuff. Today's raid on an ASDA, near Sheffield where I was working, yielded;

Maxim Maximus (liked this alot!)
Maxim Double Maxim (not too bad, reminded me a little of how newkie brown used to be)
Old Tom (excellent as always)

and now bed......

I am quaffing a Coopers Mexican Cerveza, bottled 3/10/19, carbonated quite nicely after only 16 days and has a lovely taste, this batch may not reach maturity as I have drunk almost half of it already :beer1:

Cold and wet tonight, was going to go for something light and refreshing but due to the circumstances a dry Irish stout from the bottle, not quite as much astringency as I would like but still a top drop.

Well, THIS, if the camera icon ever brings the camera to life..!! If not, Hopstar's Darwen Spitfire. Lovely IPA!

Eurostar train beer on the way home from Paris. There’s a decent little craft beer shop called Superbieres about 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord if you’re ever there. They had 3 Fonteinen and Cantillon at half the price of UK shops and a good selection from French breweries. I’m drinking a Moonlight Black Ale from Coco Nino brewery and it’s a very roasty dry stout, really enjoyable.
