Too late to brew a Christmas beer?

Can anyone recommend a good all grain Christmas beer recipe?
I know its a bit late but getting pressure from family to do one

I reckon if you use a kveik yeast there will be plenty of time. James Morton's Mad Boris Russian Imperial Stout at around 10% would be one option. I did with with Voss Kveik at 32C and enjoyed a pint 3 weeks after brewday. It will, of course, improve but that kind of turnaround is possible.

You've got plenty of time to do Christmas beer. I'm putting one on every second day until the edn of October and fully expect them to be ready for Christmas. Christmas and New Year require session beers in my experience and these 4-5% abv will ready even if you have to bottle them. Don't hang about though. Another week will make all the difference.

Try Old Jock a Scottish brew . Dark and warming at ABV of 6.8% but I've never got above 6.0%. My son in law is a Scot and he loves it.

No need for kveik or the like, unnecessary and will more than likely disappoint IMO...

It's 9 weeks till Xmas, that's even enough time to make a proper lager!

You could literally brew every single style of beer imaginable in that time frame, providing it doesn't require ageing.

Just knocked up a brew from the Durden Park Beer Circle- a recipe from Cobb and Co of Margate, nearly 200 years old. So simple. Bumped it up to 20 litres as their recipes are for a gallon at a time. Looking at some of the OGs of pre-war (two wars) beer, that's reasonable, but this one is the weakest in the book. Can't wait to try it.
