I kegged my first brew a few weeks ago and have had it hooked up in the shed at around 12-14psi. Tried a bit last week and carbonation was fine. Had another sample last night and it tasted almost flat. I cranked the co2 up to 20psi and I’m hoping that will sort it... but any suggestions would be appreciated. I’m worried now that when I serve it up tonight/tomorrow it won’t be any good!

How much did you sample? Could it be the bit you tried has been sitting in the pipes for a week?

I only poured half a pint or so. The intertap is mounted directly on top of the corny.

Half a pint should be enough to show some decent carbonation I think. Another possibility is that you have a leak. Did you check for leaks using some washing up liquid? Lube and seat your lid? If there is a leak and you can find it quick enough you could try quick carbing it as soon as possible. Should be ok by tonight

I’ve not checked for leaks, although the pressure has remained stable for a few weeks. Would that not have dropped by now if I had a leak?

I don't really feel qualified to answer this as I've only just started kegging, myself. Maybe someone else who knows a bit more can help you out
