Harry and Megan don't like Kate, do they?? I'm not saying the timing of their announcement was deliberate but it's Kate's birthday today. 'Happy Birthday Kate, and wake up to a royal shitstorm that we've created' ashock1

I didnt know it was kate's birthday (not being a forelock tugging express reader) but it does seem a bit deliberate doesn't it?

Neither do I. Megan's got miles more class than Kate, and a brain of her own. All the other one's good for is plopping out babies. Well done Meg and Mog, all the best, and let the rest of them and their sycophantic tabloid press go to hell.

I quite like the royals. I think their very English and part of what identify s England. Which is what we all wanted out of Europe for surely?

Viva Britania!!!

There's going to have to come the day when the English and the Welsh drag themselves out of the feudal system, stop playing at being serfs and move into the 21st century.
No it categorically isn't what we all wanted to get out of Europe for. Most of us don't want to get out of Europe, only Wetherspoons drinkers do.
Of those who did want out, the main reasons are Xenophobia, stupidity, ignorance, stupidity and xenophobia.
Please don't include me in your "what we all".

fair play to them, so what, the grandson does not want to join the family business, good for him. it does need trimmming down in size, far to mant grandkids hanging on.

I am a royalist and allways will be, crown before clown every time.

but when you see that Annes kids have made there own way and do very little civic duties apart from afew basics.
his "employment" by the way is charity work, you want him to be president of the " save the honey badger charity "theres a fee, turn up to events, theres a fee, want him at a luncheon theres a fee, pictures, theres a fee

so big rich yank wants to fly out to your game reserve to look at the endangered three legged left handed one eyed honey badgers and just acidentally be there when Harry is there, theres a fee.

film stars and rock stars have only been working on their bank balances and images for the last 70 years, the royals of europe have had the last 2 000 years to perfect it,

she banks far more because of Harry than she ever could on her own

my only pisser was she made him give up shooting and fishing

Good for them

'Ere we go.
Won't be too long before this thread starts discussing Brexit (again), even though comments are supposed to be banned, along with, presumably, divisive insults regarding the integrity of voters.
Anyway a reminder that it's the Royal family we are talking about. Like 'em or not.

The Royal Family gave the revenues of the Crown Estate to the State. The Sovereign Grant is set at 15% of the Crown Estates' revenue. Reversing this deal would cost the taxpayer seven times what it does now.

The ban was lifted a while ago but members telling others they were wrong to vote a certain way will not be tolorate as its going to end in the usual arguments, let's keep it on topic, thanks.
