Announced today that Kenny Rogers has died aged 81.

Singer of such classics as "Coward of the County" and a long-time singing partner of Dolly Parton, he will be sorely missed!

BTW
When I read Kenny's age of 81 years I nodded my head thinking "He lived to a decent age then." before realising that I am less than four years away from the same age. My original thoughts have now been reprogrammed to "He died young!"

Yes, saw that. He performed for 60 years and had some great songs.

I’ve also redefined “old” a number of times and have now settled on planning to live forever.

Sad that he has died but a second rate singer as reported by one of his business colleagues he was a man that never worked a day in his life just sang (badly)

He sold over 100 million records nor bad for a bad singer i wonder if his business colleagues were a little jealous (or a lot jealous)

Though he was most successful with country audiences, Rogers charted more than 120 hit singles across various music genres, topped the country and pop album charts for more than 200 individual weeks in the United States alone, and sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists ...
