acheers.

just finished a Honey Blonde Ale in the last 30 mins. Used some Target hops to use up only 10g at 15 and 10 and 25 of Cascade at 10 with a further 10 at 5mins. Ale malt enough for 1 more brew but probably enough Lager malt for another 4 so I hope that will get me through the Virus If I survive

16L of Lockdown Lager. This is a low alcohol brew which I have been meaning to do for a while, a great brew to get on at the moment as it uses minimal grain, hops and yeast and also should be ready in 2-3 weeks. I've also saved some grains to have a go at some home made bread athumb..

Just to pass the time on lockdown I brewed an esb.

Be of good cheer! If it doesn't smell of vinegar and it doesn't smell like a Turkish Wrestlers Jock-Strap after a couple of weeks carbonating, it will be fine.

Whatever you do, don't throw is away before July! It's one of life's ironies that the last bottle of a brew is sometimes the best!
I did a repeat (to reuse the yeast if anything else) and removed the false bottom during the boil to make sure the hidden element didn’t scorch. Seemed to work well.

Brewing a hefeweizen
3kg wheat
2kg pilsner
500g light Munich
20g hallertauer hop tea.
This is going to be a raw ale brewed with wb-06.
Last week I did a weizenbock, next up will be a kolsch to finish of my German line of beer

I am just brewing now a 1/3rd munich, Vienna and Pale malt with Spalt hops and probably Huell melon as a late addition not sure yet need to look in the freezer for them.
So it would probably like a Helles?
