Hi I'm getting back into brewing after giving up due to poor results,but now I'm all fired up to try again!.

Hi,

clean & sanitize,
don't suck syphon,
mind your temps
don't use chlorinated water without treating it
give it two weeks in fermentor
... there that should sort it for you

Bought a cheapo kit didn't sanitise properly and generally went into it with a half arsed attitude,I'm older and wiser now!

Right just sampled a bottle of my first properly done brew and.........it tasted superb a proper beer...
My neighbour said he'd have been happy to be served it in a craft ale bar!
So thank you for all the helpful tips I've received on this forum
