Not bad for 2 days in the pb I am getting a liking for fuggles and sazz

Cider 😮!

Hard Rain Ciderkin from Little Pomona. Made like small beer from pomace of a stronger cider and hopped with local Herefordshire Chinook hops. 3 point something % and absolutely delicious after a long day staring at a laptop

I dont go daft on the fuggles but lots of sazz at 15 and 5 mins, next brews will be target ekg and challenger
I have found that a little Fuggles goes a long way to adding depth of flavour. Yet to try with Saaz but tried with another noble hop - Tettnang with similar good results.

A couple round the in-laws tonight. A speckled hen, bishops finger, and a not quite ready stout from the FIL.

He bottled one bottle out of his fermenter just for my arrival the madman. It's still fermenting. That being said it wasn't that bad, it had a massive black treacle taste to it, and loads of carbonation which oddly worked.

Absolutely! If you look at my photos further up you’ll see the Electric Bear logo on the glass. That same black printed logo is on the front of the glass in my picture of your Dunkel - completely hidden by the beer.
Huh that's interesting. Mine was a deep red colour but definitely not black. Are you getting any roasty flavours?

Not really roasty. Malty flavours for sure, just the merest hint of charcoal maybe. Fruity notes too on the back of the tongue - hadn’t expected that.

It might still be conditioning so might change yet but I’ll bottle some and send you one to try.

Bit late to the party but just finishing this fantastic cloudwater Nelson and citra dipa.
So silky smooth and easy drinking for 8%.
The 24g/L dry hop must be mainly citra but it's so well controlled. Delicious
acheers.
