I've always been a skinny a**e. Its actually a bit of a curse as when you start to put weight on, it all goes to your belly, rather than evenly spreading itslf around, so you just end up looking like a pregnant male drug addict. Whereas, when I'm at my racing weight I just look like I've just been released from Josef Fritzl's dungeon. :laugh8::laugh8:
😄😄😄

Oh, I'm cycling whenever I can, but you just can't out cycle a **** diet and lots of booze! I'm 6'' and presently 11 st 11 so I've only got 14-16lbs to loose to hit my racing weight so it shouldn't take long.
Blimey, I'm 5ft 10 and 14 at.....🏃

Jeez wots up wi yo men I'm 67 5 feet 8 and do 30 miles aday that why I'm 3 stone ten I wish

Trying out a Northern Monk Faith for the first time. Not bad but seems to use the Conan yeast which I am not a big fan of, gives me a wet clay rubbery pineapple thing. Or maybe thats galaxy.

I enjoyed their Rapscallion much more than the Faith.

It may be in a strange plastic beverage holding vessel, it may be rested on my tatty old shorts on a hairy leg, there may be almost none left in the glass, but it's my first beer of the day. Sun is baking down here in Cornwall and I've chosen one of my own, a Dunkelweizen, to kick off the evening.

H...pop over to the food forum and post your chilli recipe please old chap...

Bloody hell @Clint I can’t remember, it’s like mental muscle memory! I’m sure I can list the ingredients but will have to measure some quantities before I can post a recipe. Luckily for you I like it so you don’t have to wait long! ;)

Head retention looks strong! Do you add any wheat at all? So far I've been making beers that lose their head within seconds, doing a wheat beer Friday so that will hopefully change.

Hi Jim,

Yes I do. For a 23 litre batch with around 5Kg of grain I add 250g of torrified wheat for head retention. This beer is also served from a keg which gives a nice head too.

#1 Kveik pale with Victoria secret...it was virtually clear three days ago but it's been in the fridge for three days and clouded up again...never seen chill haze like this before if that what it is! However,it tastes really good...water treatment may be helping...soft and juicy with a nice rounded lasting bitterness to finish off...moreish.

Looks beautiful @Clint I have a heavily hopped Vic Secret in the fermenter right now. Great minds ;)

There you go Jim, 20 minutes after starting, the saison still has a head. That’s a little torrified wheat and a keg for you.
