Is this the Most Meaningless/Waste of time thread that has ever been posted?

I think the most meaningless thread was the 'Show us your vacuum cleaner thread'

I would like to know what happened to the 'Blessed are the cheese makers' thread, which inspired me to make my own cheese. Seems to have completely disappeared. How can whole threads get deleted? I particularly liked to read about the attempts to make Stilton.

I cannot remember that thread and whole threads are not generally removed for no reason, the only thing I can think of is it didn't survive the move to the new forum.

Graf, a beer cider hybrid. Isn't that just a snake bite or is there more to Graf?

I'm guessing Google knows about it though, as the auto correct is putting a capital G at the start of the word when I type it🙂

Snakebite is the mixing of the 2 alcoholic beverages whereas Graf is AJ and wort are blended and fermented together like a normal brew. Snakebite on the other hand was mixing cheap but strong cider with beer to give a kick like a donkey and a hangover that lasted a week in which you vowed never to drink it again but feeling much better with batteries charged yes you guessed it. Sound familiar...

I see . It sounds like a dangerous path, but one that must be trodden one day😁 I'll have a look for recipies and perhaps knock a small batch next time I get a lager brew on and make it short and use the rest in a demijohn.

I brew beer but love messing around. I've brewed a chestnut ale, mango pale ale and even one with rowanberry which was really tart and could have passed for a sour but you'll never know until you have a go....

I feel a split batch coming on....each of 6 demi johns of wort with 1 Lt of different fruit juices added.

Let's see....beetroot, apple, blueberry, rhubarb...what else..
