First attempt at AG an American IPA
Smells and tasted like an IPA. Think I over pitched yeast and transfer was messy af and I'm amazed it was drinkable. On the back of that have pre ordered a robobrew and going full AG
Having a look about for a reasonable priced Sparge water heater.

Munich Dunkel, brewday was three months ago as I gave it a nice long lagering period (translation: I was too lazy to bottle for several weeks). It’s pretty nice, only my second lager and my first successful one!

My first beer in 3 months! Been on a weightloss, exercise regime.
Thought I’d ease myself back in with a cheeky little AG 7.3% porter lol. Bottled in January. Smells terrific.

That went right to my head lol.
Tasted perfect. Was only a little 5l clean BIAB so I had 5 bottles and the lad had 5 bottles.
Defo want to do that recipe again.
Next up an AG IPA. Same again was a small brew with the young fella. Only note I have is ‘punk(ish) clone. First sip was like a hop slap to the mooey lol.

London Beer Factory Zia Tiramisu Pastry Stout
IMG_20201106_154226_227.jpg

It's definitely got the Tiramisu flavours 👍🏼 It got a bit cloying towards the end but I quite enjoyed this. I'd prefer it with less sweetness and more bitterness, but then again it is a pastry stout.

I agree. I tried this a few weeks back and thought the same thing. But then I decided I couldnt buy something called a Tiramisu Stout and then complain it tasted like dessert.

It does seem to be hard to find Stouts that arent full of sweet additions though. Just a phase the market us going through?
