Watched Thief last night, can't believe I have not come across this until now.
Early michael mann film, great to see early formulation of his storytelling style.
Starring James Caan, Jim Belushi, Willie nelson(brielfy), Dennis Farina....
Highly recommend if you like 80's action crime, I can see that it has influenced many heist films that came after it.
Great soundtrack, by Tangerine Dream

Blimey, I haven't seen this. Love Michael Mann films..will have to go in the list👍🏼

Watched Frozen again.

Not the awesome kid one, the gnarly ski lift horror one. It’s still cracking but god it makes me feel queasy in places.

Ha, my only knowledge of this film is from the brilliant review by YMS on YouTube!

The colour out of space is on prime at the minute.

Nicholas Cage freak out trippy stuff 👍🏼

Watched a few recently.

Le Mans - not bad at all the racing scenes were decent. All felt a bit too much like watching a movie though needed some harsher moments earlier and throughout the film - bad guy wasn't threatening enough.

Ad Astra - Not sure what the point of this film was. Wouldn't watch it again. I love good space films but thought it wasted itself after a decent beginning.

Also rewatched the Dark Knight trilogy - will do so again as well superbly made popcorn movies.

I'm not a great telly-watcher, but as we've got guests in lock-down with us, we watched Ad Astra. I agree with @The Cat : the storyline started off ok, but towards the end they got fed up making the film. Ripping off a bit of his dad's ship's radar to skim through Neptune's ring had all the hallmarks of Mad Max and sleeping through the whole return journey to land safely on Earth was just pulling the plug as far as I could see. But, I was grateful for the sudden ending as the film dragged on far too long. And, I now know where all my missing DHL packages end up.

Hmm I'm going to have to rewatch Ad Astra soon. I seem to recall being a little surprised at how it shifted tone, particularly as I knew nothing about it before seeing it and was expecting a space action movie. But despite that I also remember very much enjoying it.

Whole time I was watching it I couldn’t help thinking ‘Pollo Ad Astra’, which I think is a pizza express pizza

That's on my watch list. On a similar note I watched Ronin a couple of nights ago. Good stuff.
Just when I thought I was out.. they pull me back in!

Classic Pacino.. great movie!
