Just received POWER UP by AC/DC today and I've only played it once. What makes it special is it's the first AC/DC vinyl album i have bought in years though i did buy Roxette The Look a few weeks back. Now I find myself listening to a few so far AC/DC - POWER UP,Blow up your video : Def Leppard- Hysteria : Scorpions - World Wide Live and the night is young.....PS it's all vinyl and the quality is fantastic.

Is that their new album released today?

my mate at work told me,I thought Rejection was cracking and Shot in the Dark was great as well. Then some dude walked in who loves jazz so I figured I’d listen to the rest later lol.

good start though!

Sadly nothing. Turned on my Linn LP12 turntable this afternoon to play a Gary Moore LP and it stopped turning after two tracks. It looks like the motor has packed up. Gonna be an expensive repair. :(

That sucks for sure but surely there will be a compatible motor and hoping that's all it is.
Gary Moore is another exceptional musician with outstanding guitar skills.

Tosca - composed by Puccini

An utterly brilliant opera
Excellent stuff though Opera would not be my choice, though I do think music has a key to the soul as I always find that when I'm listening especially to what I like it's quite relaxing and I find myself getting lost in the mood and reminiscing.

I agree music has a unique ability to help set your mood

Opera is seen as "high brow" but to me it is the most moving of art forms - amazing spectacle, emotion, acting and beautiful melodies

It has given me some of the most memorable experiences of my life

People shouldn't pre-judge - just listen with an open mind

I’ve been enjoying the new AC/DC album too.

And to prove how “all over the place” my music taste is I’ve also been listening to the new Margo Price live album.
