I've started with this one. It's fine but rather forgettable.

Had this last night, wasn't impressed either

Money comes to mind clapa :beer1:
Ha ha yes partly but as it's more viscous it goes down in a sort of slick but then fills one up. Off topic a bit but this reminds me of a Crown Court Judge's endorsement of real ale at Stafford about 47 years ago. Before sentencing a group of young burglars whose only mitigation was that they had drunk industrial amounts of lager he encouraged them to drink proper beer as they would drink less of it!

Having a La Trappe Tripel tonight, I haven’t had a Tripel in quite some time and I‘m really enjoying it.

Reached the boil stage of my brewday which means I can crack a brew without having to worry about fudging things up....

First sample of my Russian imperial stout, two weeks in the bottle.

This is going to be a beauty in a few months time. At 9% it's boozy but not harsh. It's got a nice roasty, chocolate, dark fruity aroma and taste. Quite bitter, but not too much so, and I plan to age this so that'll mellow out. I'd call that a success!
