GET REAL!!!!, it's a prop to make him look a man of the people.
Actually, whatever you may think of him, I met him years ago; before Brexit Party, even before UKIP was anything other than a tiny fringe party nobody had heard of much. He was in a pub in Westminster, drinking ale and getting 'merry'. I can assure you, his partaking of real ale was no prop back then, lol.

I thought it was a country that used sovereigns as currency hence Del Boy " its worth a few sov's"

I advise against taking his opinion seriously.. at least when you want to be taken serious.
I think he speaks for a vast majority for those living within the EU, Islamic opinions aside. Work together, trade together, have an internal market together but not a political union, a union which now wants its own armed forces, a union which has the same check out policy as Hotel California, check in any time you like, but you can never leave. That isn't what democracy is about, the EU has risen from the common market to a undemocratic governing body who are more interested in looking after themselves.

Do you know what "drinking the kool-aid" is foxy?

I do, and I also believe there is nothing to fear about leaving the EU, neither Boris nor the EU has burned any bridges. In the EXTREMELY unlikely event that things don't go as planned there is always a way back. GB can now strike their own deals with other countries in a more streamlined way than the top heavy bureaucratic way of the EU. Having confidence in your country and its leaders is a start, no good comes of looking back at once was and being skeptical about the future.

Oh dear, that, "if true", would be absolutely awful!

Still, it's great that our own (elected) UK government and the eu commission have between themselves agreed a free trading arrangement, that will actually be operational in a few days' time, isn't it!

Can you see the eu parliament voting it out (if and when they actually get to vote, that is)?

No, they have too much to loose, a fair deal has been struck and they should breath a sigh of relief they haven't got the chaos that a 'no deal' would bring.
I did read this morning that Leo Varadkar is trying his hand at scare mongering about how the EU could drop the agreement if Britain didn't follow the rules, that happens in all FTG's, we are going through a bad patch with China at the moment.
