Part Grain Pilsner Beer kit. Newbie advice appreciated.

Excellent thanks for your help and advice. That’s a great relief. I read and printed both links you sent for lagering and decided to go with the jays brewing one. I’ll let you know how it goes. Once again thanks. Brilliant help and my minds now at ease.

I’ve come to the same conclusion followed everything to plan so guessing there’s very little chance the kit is faulty it’s clearly my error. Obviously haven’t mixed the top Up water properly and got a high amount of undiluted wort in the trial jar. Do you think this will rectify itself now once...

Part Grain Pilsner Beer kit. Newbie advice appreciated.

Just read your reply again. To clarify original reading wasn’t 1.0102 it was 1.102. Can’t wait until I’m the experienced one and not the novice haha.

I took the reading before pitching the yeast...

Exciting times. Roll on Christmas. Unfortunately got to dump a coopers Canadian blonde doesn’t taste good not...

Thankyou for the quick response. Definitely want to use the fridge seeing as temp will be stable and the heating will no doubt be cranked up very soon. Would you recommend another saflager then and would 2 be enough for 23 litres. Secondly how long for fermentation would you guess at

Part Grain Pilsner Beer kit. Newbie advice appreciated.

Hi all. I’ve only just started brewing having done a badly carbonated lager (Young’s kit) and a perfect alcoholic ginger beer I decided to try a part grain beer kit. I have built a fermentation fridge after reading posts on this site and have now got a beerworks part grain pilsner kit I plan to...

Hi all. I’m reasonably new to brewing but not to this forum. Been reading posts for a while as no matter what I search online I’m always ending up here! Makes sense to sign up stop searching and start asking the stupid questions directly to where I get the answers. Thanks In advance.
