Tried 3 bottles last night , been in bottle 5 weeks now Have to say I was blown away , it was fking superb , Clear as a bell , carbonated to perfection , just stunning Anyone who hasn't tried this kit n likes IPA give it a go

Hi I've a feeling that 1kg of enhancer isn't the same as using brew sugar or table sugar in terms of increasing ABV, am I right ? Just wondered as I'm doing a 2 can kit of Wilko feeling hoppy, but I think as it's a 2 can kit , a kilo of enhancer will hit the spot once bottle conditioned...

What 2 cans did you use out of interest ?

Afternoon everyone I've been gifted 2 cans of Wilko feeling hoppy IPA I've done it before and put extra hops in of my choice , dextrose and 500g of brewing sugar It was ok but not amazing , so I've been gifted 2 cans , anyone have thoughts on making 23L brew up using both cans ? Anyone done...

Bulk prime the IPA I would , priming bottle with sugar or drops I find you end up with too much sediment in the bottle Cant comment on the stout but I wouldn't fancy drinking a carbonated stout guiness style drink

Kimberley bitter was horrible, preferred ships tones or home bitter

I hate Morrisons , their pretentious market Street aisle , bloody poxy Aldi / Lidl all day long, spend 100 quid at Morrisons or Tesco , get same stuff for 70£ Aldi or Lidl Yes aldi do "proper job " 5,5%, cracking drink for 1,49,. Think local Tesco express does 3 for a fiver

Want to get another kit on the go now I've got 2 FV standing doing nothing Wasn't keen on MJ pink grapefruit , want something pale and 6% ish With loads of hop oomph ! Kit costs not a problem but will try a cheaper kit with some recommendations with additional hops Thanks all

I suppose unless your using a conical fermenter it's unlikely anyways bottled / kegged 23 litres What's everyone's experience ? I got 19 litres out of the batch of Young's AIPA I bottled this morning

Just done third batch of Young's AIPA, Bottled it this morning , come out a lovely pale colour unlike before when it's been quite dark, I dry hopped with 25g of williamette and 25g of Simcoe , now whether or not this has changed the appearance I don't know Anyway let's see how it looks in...

I'm going to bottle the Razorback and AIPA this evening Minor bit of activity through airlock but I can't see it causing any bother in the bottle whilst conditioning Started 3 weeks as yesterday
