    Double co2 reg

I have this one, quality doesn't feel amazing but it more than does the job for the money.

    Pumps and PIDs

I own this pump - https://www.kegkingdom.co.uk/products/brew-pump-3000. Has been great so far for the money, I use it for re-circulation and never hand any issues with grain, easy to dissassemble and clean. Can be bought in various places if KegKingdom isn't to your liking (I seem to remember...

    Stainless steel fermenter

Looks like this was for the 25 ltr. Got lucky there, wasn't that cheap for very long.

    Stainless steel fermenter

These are now £10 cheaper and an extra 10% off today with code 'blackfriday2018' anyone tempted? They also do a 25ltr one for £10 less than this. Think this will be enough if you are closed fermenting and only every looking to fill 1 corney per brew?

    counter pressure bottle filler

I use a party tap with a piece of beer line stuck in it, cut off at an angle. Then fill until it foams to the very top of neck of the bottle, then cap on the foam to ensure there is no oxygen in there.

    Ball Valve Leak

For the uneducated, what is a one of those and how will it help me?

    Ball Valve Leak

I have installed a re-circulation port in my boil kettle in order to avoid having to stir during cooling and for whirlpooling. The port is about 3/4 of the way up a 33 ltr plastic bucket. It seemed fine when I installed it but the combination of heat adding flexibility to the plastic and the...

    Corny Fridge

If you aren't looking for anything flashy, isn't it just a case of drilling X number of holes in the front of it with a hole saw?

    Accurate PT100 Temperature Probe

Spot on Dutto. I did a test controlling water between 60c and 70c using my sous vide immersion circular. Versus my Thermopen, it was within 0.5c across the range, so good enough. Thanks.

    Accurate PT100 Temperature Probe

I am looking for a screw-in PT100 that reads the correct temperature. I bought one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/122478920037?rt=nc and although it seems good quality, the temperature reads +2-3c in ice water and 97c in boiling water. Does anyone have any recommendations of other probes, or...

    Herms Coil Size

I don't have a element in my mash tun either. What I am planning (and what people have done before) is putting a copper coil inside a a domestic kettle and then monitoring the temperature of the wort before it goes back into the mash tun, then letting the power of the kettle be controlled by a...

    Herms Coil Size

Thanks. When I made a immersion chiller I just bought 10m of 10mm from Screwfix, seemed a bit wasteful to do that again for this. Surprised to hear you say it was a pain to setup and clean. Is setup more difficult than connecting the temperature probe of the PID and disconnects? I was planning...

    Herms Coil Size

I am looking to add re-circulation to my 3 tier setup. I am currently planning (unless anyone has any strong advise to contrary) to put a coil inside a £5 Wilko kettle and control it with a PID that I already have. I was wondering, from anyone that has done this already (I've seen it pictured a...

    Quick Disconnects vs Camlocks

Very friendly in here, that's what I like to see. I think I might go for Quick Disconnects on second thoughts. They seem simpler and more elegant solution.
