It was ok but nothing special compared with other beers on offer. Didn't get a massive hit of Citra hops.
Suppose I was expecting more considering how popular it is to clone or maybe it just didn't travel well.
Very good review. I'm swinging between going for this or stainless myself, you've just swung me back towards the Fermentasaurus. As you say I don't think there's a lot of point without the pressure kit though. One thing that puts me off a little is I've read it only has a recommended 2 year...
I find Uber really good when I visit my son in London. Taxi turns up in no time, fairly cheap, very convenient and best of all no cash changing hands.
And it would make a big dent in the market for Toyota's Prius without all the Uber drivers.:lol:
I really can't say I've yet tried a sour beer that I've liked.
I even poured half a bottle of Wild Beer Co's Modus Operandi down the sink. I know tastes vary and some people really rate it, but I'm afraid to my palate it just tasted like vinegar.
Just done first dry hop during fermentation in my NEIPA, that's 285g total so far. One more dry hop to go will take it up to around 400g.
Mainly Citra and Mosaic with additional Amarillo just in dry hop. Can't decide whether to use more Amarillo in 2nd dry hop or something with a little...
Just a warning that if in the future you are thinking of utilising the size of the 100 litre pot and still brewing BIAB, you would need a pulley system of some sort to lift the bag of wet grain.
Acclaim look to be US based, do they do free delivery to UK?
BYO do international subscriptions at a cost, but to be honest I think Craft Beer and Brewing is the better magazine.
