What are you drinking tonight 2020.

@strange-steve I've spent the evening so far going through your 'Beginners Guide to Water Treatment' (my RO unit arrives next week) Only on page 18/53 but I have a fair few pages of notes that I've taken so far.... A clear precis of a complex area, chapeau, monsieur, chapeau! :hat: :hat:

The world would be so boring if we all liked exactly the same things, in mitigation my sense of taste and smell are very blunt so I need a slap with a 2x4 to notice many flavours. So, finished the orange pale ales and now hitting wheat meet again from electric bear. Crisp and fresh, lovely ๐Ÿ‘

I'm currently drinking liquid marmalade. ๐Ÿ˜› I found this cheeky number on the shelf in Lidl this afternoon, couldn't resist giving it a go. Not sure of the brewery, it has Lidl's address on it so it is a 'brewed for' Lists pale ale malt, with Rakau, Admiral, First gold and Mandarins Bavaria...

Iโ€™m on my fifth? Fruit shute pale ale. My current favourite. Chilling with the love of my life and putting the world to rights, a perfect end to a frustrating day. ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ

    Timber for keezer collar

Just throwing another option into the mix I used some spare decking wood sized to the outer edge. This allows for the lid ridge as you can cut the insulation fitted to the inside to suit. If it will be on show it will look a bit 'special' but I've boxed my keezer into a larger box to allow the...

Whoot! Welcome to the club. I wish I had had a retirement ale, I just travelled a few pubs in that old London city in a stupid tee shirt. ๐Ÿบ It was fun though ๐Ÿ˜Ž The days will fill with all the stuff you hadnโ€™t realised was waiting! Glorious! The new era awaits ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿบ

    Corny kegging (beginner)

... forgot to mention my taps have flow control as well, so when I get it wrong I can fine tune the delivery.

The boss went to Lidl and got me a celebratory octoberfest set, beer is rather 'meh' but BIG stein for use with decent beer.

Yeah, I'm running at 20psi which would explain my longer piping ๐Ÿ‘

@meirion658 I've experimented with my keezer and have fixed on 15ft old money, (4.5m ish) 3/16" with 3/8" ends to suit. I tried other lengths but settled with the above. That serves larger, Weiss beer, IPA & ale well at around 3c - 5c

@Banbeer it's Ben @bmass96 that is the proud owner of the new kegs, I'm just spouting random experience ๐Ÿ‘
