I very rarely move my beer to a secondary fermenter. I’ve often left mine on 3 weeks with no issues.
Personally I’d leave it alone and enjoy your holiday, but either way would be fine.
Thanks for the replies. I forgot to mention the beer type. It’s hazy IPA around 7%.
I guess I need to be a bit more patient. I was just curious why the keg seemed to prime fast than the bottles when the primer was mixed in the bucket.
I’ve tried another bottle and it’s definitely more carbonated...
I haven’t bottled for a while. I split my latest 10 gallon batch between kegs and bottles. The last 6 gallons I added 100 grams of priming sugar, kegged 3 gallons and bottled the last 3 gallons. The keg has primed just fine, but the bottles are kind of flat.
Not sure why. Been in bottles for...
Mine usually take about 10 days at around 20 degrees ending up roughly 7% ABV. My brother has a commercial brewery and doesn’t understand why.
I don’t either.
It just does.
Putting a 5 gallon fermenting bucket on the kitchen worktop and using a rolling pin to tilt it forward when siphoning into keg.
And doing all of the above at 11pm.

Thanks for all the replies. Crikey, Didn’t think it would be so hard to choose!
Thinking about going for the above.
£45. Is this a wise choice at an OK price?
Thanks for the replies.
Can you explain why I need a flow control disconnect and where I can get one from?
Also, I like the look of the ultra twist but can seem to find it anywhere in the UK.
Hi
I need a faucet for a corny keg I've just bought. There seem to be a few to choose from. Is there much difference in quality between brands. Any recommendations. I'm looking to attach it straight onto the disconnect.
Thanks in advance.
