    Hi there dogman, welcome to the forum I'm close by in east hull and do a lot of wine making from allsorts of fruit etc I get from my allotment and the odd kit or two.

    coopers 86 days pilsner

    Hi all, got a coopers 86 days beer kit for pilsner but unfortunately i've lost the label and the quantities/instructions are on the inside of this. Have been on their site but it just says had fermentables in the general instructions so I'm now unsure of quantities for sugar/enancer etc. Anyone...

    Yeh an FS1E the purple one with drum brakes my first bike too, our gang consisted of two FS1E's an AP50 an SS50 a puch grand prix and two garelli's one a record and one a tiger cross. Happy days them.

    Had a lot of strokers through the 80's and started on a fizzy/gt 185/ts 175/gt 250/kh's/ rd 200/250/400 etc, stopped biking 5yrs ago and ended on a fazer 600....Just could'nt do the cold weather riding on congested roads.

    Hi there, It would be worth investigating has the company I work for has a contract to build turbines for the Irish sea after we have completed the project of the east coast, not sure about being able to name drop on this forum so the company is of german origin and global.

    dry ingredient measurements

    Been looking through recipe books/web for the upcoming summer harvesting and keep coming across recipes with measurements in litres for dry ingredients such has elderflower heads, maybe a silly question but would this be a measuring container filled loosely to the litre mark with the flower...

    How do you store your Demijohns when not in use?

    I once made the mistake of storing a freshly washed demijon on the garage floor at the beginning of winter and when the residual water settled in the bottom it froze, so when I picked it up in the spring the bottom fell off probably due to freezing water expanding causing it to crack....Lesson...

I'm from Hull east yorkshire/humberside 55 and work in the renewable energy sector for my sins and have been brewing wines for the last year and currently have a sizable cellar(garage) of various wines some from kits...
