I have made The Coppers Irish stout a number of times using this method with good results. I am ready to keg 40 litres of the range MYO Stout I have brewed with the same method. Looking forward to trying it.

I would thoroughly recommend I.O.Shen knives, not the cheapest but razor sharp and feel nice in the hand. A set like these would set you up well. If you search around you can find good deals.

I think I got the original Fermentasaurus from BrewUK but I think they are now end of life with a new model due out soon. I have recently bouhht a 60l fermzilla all rounder for bigger batches. Initial impressions are good so far.
Have you thought about pressure fermentation? I have a fermentasaurus and ferment at 1 bar / 15psi and then drop the temperature for a couple of days in my brew fridge for the yeast to drop. Transfer directly to corny and into kegerator. Can get a kit on tap in 7 days which is clear and...
Been using my ispindel for a few months now and it has been an invaluable tool. However the battery is no longer holding charge and I need a replacement. Does anybody know where best to source.
I presume it's just a quick desolder of the connectors and solder on a new one.
I have a 3kg bottle and it lasted me just over a year probably 2 cornie a month and pressure transfer from fermentasaurus. Going to get it refilled asap
As Woodfordes Wherry is a particularly widely available kit and pretty reliable, I am looking at what people do to liven it up a bit. Different Yeasts, Dry Hop? With it being on offer for £15 at the moment it would be rude not to do a bit of experimentation.
