    First year in new house

Sorry to hear that. I'm always intrigued by the ingenuity of people, like what came up right away on the search with the bus idea. Personally, I wouldn't mind living in a mobile home with the wife and the pets, park one place and then move on to the next. Maybe half a year at a time.

    First year in new house

That's funny. I didn't see that until now. I was wondering if the OP was being colorful about the bus. When I looked, it's a thing. I think I might have used the word wrong though. "Flipping" houses is just supposed to mean buy, fixing and selling, I believe. Probably should have said...

You flipped a bus into a home? It does sound interesting. Edit: this is what a couple people did in redoing a bus.

    1.2 Mbps

    That would drive me crazy.

    1.2 Mbps

6 Mbps used to be pretty hot. Technically you can run Netflix on that speed. The internet company's always trying to upsell us (100, 200, 300 Mbps). We're paying for 50 Mbps which is nearly the lowest available. Every time I get the itch to have those higher speeds, I have to remind myself that...

    Thatcher

Not that many where the majority would celebrate a death here, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

    Thatcher

I had no idea Margaret Thatcher was controversial. It wasn't something hit upon here, at least from what I saw--she was just a Prime Minister. Were there any Prime Ministers that most people thought was the cat's meow or nearly so? What I've seen, none of them were even remotely palatable.

    From keg to bottles?

Yes, agreed. I was stuck on the idea that it would be used for carbonating. Sounds like you're good to go.

    From keg to bottles?

That keg is supposed to be a one-time use, right? I wouldn't reuse it, personally, but I could be wrong and others will tell you they do it all the time. Sure, buy the ingredients that are based on a recipe. Then, my advice is, if bottling is preferred, invest in a correctly sized fermenter...

    From keg to bottles?

I found Brau Fasschen (sp?) which is the type you're using. As Chippy mentions, no freezing but you should keep the beer a degree or two above for best results for the lagering effect. So, to your questions: The beer is finished and carbonated while in the keg.I don't suggest it but you could...

Village pub asked to change name by Vogue magazine

Thanks. It doesn't but the weight on the conscience, empathy for the people, sadness and so forth is present. I feel our conservative leaders continue to wind up the right. That the presidential election was stolen is going strong. It was just chance that I even looked at the headlines on...

    From keg to bottles?

Welcome! While most would know what you mean, I'm not familiar with the specifics. If you post the exact link to the kit, I'd be happy to help. Otherwise, I'm sure someone will come along soon with advice. Cheers.

Village pub asked to change name by Vogue magazine

That's good. I kind of equate our contact sports with gladiators and such, events meant to distract us commoners from our lives and what the rich and powerful are doing.

I believe I'm not being biased here, but can any country top our '16-'20 Muppet Show?
