    Refermenting Blackberry wine

Hi. I collected just over six kilo of Blackberries and followed a recipe from a web site. I actually froze them after each collection. I placed them all in a brewing bin and added hot water as the recipe suggested. When melted and cool I added the wine yeast and nutrient along with other stuff...

    Favourite Stout Kit.

Woodfords Nog is fantastic. I usually beef it up with a 1lb of chocolate malt then more hops. It turned out the best brew I have done to date. I was given many 5kg boxes of hops from a local brewery which had past their use by date, all were sealed and still usable. Well worth a brew.

Kit Tweaking. How to customise and improve upon a basic kit

I bought an American Craft Ale kit from my local brew shop and tweaked it to make a stronger but more tastier brew. Instead of the five gallon I brewed and fermented only four gallon and used bottled water at 23p per two litres from the supermarket. Just before the end of fermentation I...

    Souring beer

I'm a lover of sour beers and desperately would love to brew one. After reading up about it there is nothing that takes you through the actual process step by step. I have read about Bret and by using yogurt. If there is any one on here who has been successful in brewing one I'd be grateful...
