Do most people use these for making a starter? If so, do you leave it switched on all the time you are making the starter? Any recommendations for good, reliable stir plates? Thanks

My GF conical + glycol chiller has been absolutely fine.

By the end I may have been slightly less focused on the brewer’s name! 🍻 But the general standard was excellent.

Didn’t manage to taste any other forum members’ beers, but I have to say I didn’t taste a bad beer all afternoon. Which is fantastic but also slightly worrying!

#61 is marked as ‘Great Example’ (30-37). Again, very enjoyable! Thanks 👍

#47 is marked as ‘Excellent Example’, which is a good sign (>=38) and very tasty. 👍

Has anyone else been able to add a third beer? There are still places showing as being available but I’m still limited to two entries when I log in.

I’ve just had my final score sheets through. 29 for our damson gose. Couldn’t get the damson and not salty enough but liked it as a beer. Oh well, a few tweaks needed!

Scored 24 for our green hop beer, which we entered as an English IPA. Too much diacetyl. Scored 37 for our milk stout entered under 16A Sweet Stouts without placing. Does anyone know what the winning scores were for this category?
