Apologies if this is in the wrong place.. there used to be a kombucha thread but I can't find it now.
So my question is can I make a 40 bottle batch of kombucha like I do for beers using all the same equipment? And, moreover, is a internet bought scooby man enough to do the job?
Thanks in advance!
A review here for @Hazelwood Brewery 's summer ale.
This was an excellent pint! Upon opening it seemed slightly over carbed and there was a little 'expansion' but nothing to worry about and nothing that detracted from the enjoyment. It poured with a small amount of sediment but was pretty...
So I understand from one of the other recipients. I promise I sent them! I'm really disappointed and I just hope they are delayed and not lost for good. If they aren't received, I'll send you a bonus Hefewiezen each, sadly I have no more of the golden ale.
I don't know how all three could...

I've just sent mine out 1st class; post office gentleman informed me that Royal Mail workers are on strike tomorrow, and obviously it is a bank holiday on Monday (they won't go out until then). So I hope you get them soon!
Also worth mentioning they are bottle conditioned, so chuck em in the...
I have three left to swap, and am to be congratulated on my self restraint. I honestly have been wording the 'actually I can't' message in my head but here we are. Who'd have thought it at this late stage of the game? 🤣
Not to upset anyone here, but this isn't a competition, it's a swap. The clue is the title of the thread; and in any case this beer won't be so far removed from style. It'll be great!
My EKGoldy has been in the bottle for 9 days now, it's tasting fine! I think it'll end up a good beer, but I don't think it'll go bright as a button... I may have been a bit heavy handed with the dry hop so it will retain the haze I think.
