    Cleaner.

I use the Wilkos stuff linked below. It shifts stains on clothing and is good for soaking crud out of buckets etc. It's basically Vanish, but less than half the price. http://www.wilko.com/washing-powder+fabric-conditioner/wilko-oxi-plus-stain-remover-1kg/invt/0333369

    Forgot to stir

Simple but effective! That's got much more of the honey into suspension. Cheers. I'm still finding sticky patches in the kitchen from yesterday's racking, I really don't want it do make a bid for freedom! Interesting read about Victory Gin

Interesting article! Gin is to 1984 what soma is to Brave New World almost. I hadn't made that connection before... I might have to dig my old copy out for as re-read. I first read it as a youngster and it gave me such a bad impression of gin I didn't try it for a long time - shame really given...

    Hello from a total novice

Hello all! I just chucked my first two batches on to brew today (a basic mead and a supermarket fruit juice wine), so I'm a newbie to home brewing; but after years of wanting to try it and finding excuses not to (too busy, not enough space, etc) I just went 'sod it' and picked up a sachet of...
