Ive just tested it again and its gone back to 1020???? I had decanted it as suggested earlier to see if there was anything left at the bottom but nothing to see. God knows what's going on! I think I did put too much water in trying to get everything out of the can (obviously using cold water...

Hmmmm 7 days later, its managed to go to 1010. 1.3% alcohol. Any ideas what i can do?

And we've finally got bubbles coming from the airlock! Whoop whoop! I think most of it was that with 5 litres starting in a 25l bucket, it was slow to full up with gas. Now its filled up, its blooping away nicely

On a sidenote, who makes brewing buckets without a volume measurement on it?
