  • I am brewing a bohemian pilsner in a conical fermenter. It's the first time I have used the lager profile (as opposed to ale). It has now gone into stage 4 lasting 30 days. I am assuming that it is now conditioning the brew since fermentation is now finished? I am unsure how to proceed? Is any further conditioning (secondary fermentation) necessary ?

    Thanks for that Richard, I am assuming that i will still need to do some secondary fermentation in the bottle ?

    Yes, you'll need to prime the bottles with sugar for that last bit of fermentation to carbonate the finished beer
