Do any of you use a Refractometer instead of a hydrometer, i received one yesterday and it seems much easier to read than a Hydrometer. What do you all think of these devices, do you find them accurate ?
What do i need to be looking at in my water supply, Portsmouth water provides a quite comprehensive PDF for each area and there’s so many items on there. I just dont know which i need to be looking at. TIA

Just ordered it Matt, I have two tin kits to make first then in couple of weeks going to try my first all grain. I have my eye on the Malt Master Guiness Tribute. Going to sit down tomorrow and get my head round the absorbtion rate which i understand to be 1 litre per kilo, so straight forward...
