    Re: Festival Razorback IPA Review

I know for the Evildog Doubled IPA I did previously it says that hops are already added to the bag of "malt extract" as the starting hops and you just need to add the finishing hops yourself, i think its just to make it as simple as possible

    Re: Festival Razorback IPA Review

I’ve just finished a youngs American IPA and they said to add hops 2 days before bottling, the razorback says add 5 days in, any advise which is best ?

    Best ipa kit

I’ve done 2 lots of of evil dog double ipa, it’s very strong but lacks hops flavour, the issue is that they give you the hops in a teabag, and don’t supply the priming sugar. So when I bought the Young’s AIPA it was nice to see the hops were loose and sugar provided. Turns out to be a great...

    Pressure barrel

Just a question about using a barrel rather than bottles. I wondered how long it lasts and what is needed, co2 etc ??

    Bulldog, Evil Dog Double IPA

yes what you are saying makes sense, i really do not get a strong hop smell at all, the teabag seems to have very small perforations, so not much fluid could really pass through, I think next time I might try just throwing it in

Possible issues with evil dog double ipa fermentation

yes did one a few before this, I was not impressed but I think I didn’t do a good job, so thought I’d try again. What I found last time was that I don’t think I got enough oxygen in the wort to start with I didn’t shake it up enough, it started to ferment slowly but kept going for the full weeks...

Possible issues with evil dog double ipa fermentation

Evil Dog IPA on the go.

I did this one a month or so ago as my first brew, I had a low reading 1.048 which I think was due to me not really shaking the wort, but who knows. I left it for 12 days then added the hops, I didn’t stir them in very well and it never really had that hoppy taste, when finished it almost had a...
