I use perlicks 650 taps with flow control and even with flow fully open find the pour a bit slow but get a good pint lines are 6 feet anyone reckon I should shorten them same style of set up as hoddys brewfridge pictured earlier in this thread

Never even thought of that yet I used to siphon all the time got too used to the conical with tap I suppose........ cherry porter sitting in keg waiting to go on tap will let you know how it is ...got mates round tomorrow gotta finish a keg of black ipa to get the porter on.....it's a hard...
Evening folks I have just done a couple of beers with fruit,
raspberries then cherries both from farmfoods frozen the main problem I had was transferring from fermenter to bottle or keg as the fruit was clogging up the tap,I have an ss conical but the fruit floats........rasp beer excellent...
cheers treebeard i am going to consider going for this as I have a sankey 20 litre set up but i like to do a half brew when trying new beers so this would be ideal so its either this or a 10 litre sankey this set up has the advantage of being portable though
the brewdog meeting is usually the last thursday of each month unless it has changed recently i have been quite a few times but not recently as not too keen on having too much to drink on a thursday and its very difficult 1)-in brewdog 2)homebrew to sample but always a good night with really...
problem solved by changing tap all good now like dads ale i totally stripped tap that was on and could not find any problem,my taps are fitted with flow controllers so i can mess with that if needed,think this is the second time tho that first 5 pints or so from keg are dodgy then it all comes...
this is not unusual and dare i say not geterbreweds fault I live 9 miles from dundee and with a lot of companies have to get stuff sent to my workshop in dundee rather than my home adress which incurs a "not uk mainland" or "highlands" surcharge,its down to the postal companies and i know...

hi fil cheers for the reply will check all connections and see if it makes any odds make sure they are all pushed home then next move will be to change tap as it has been changed as i have a spare which i fully strip and clean everytime i change a keg i change the tap also,never thought of...
